VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to Foundation for a Truth About Drugs Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators through public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on commonly abused substances, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
